artfest FAQ


  1. Does it cost anything to attend Artfest? No! Artfest is a free community event. If you want to purchase food and beverage from the concessionaires or artwork from the vendors, you will want to bring cash or credit cards.

  2. Is Artfest a family friendly event? Yes! Families are welcome to attend the festivities.

  3. When is Artfest? Friday, April 27th in McCall Plaza from 5:00pm-9:00pm and Saturday, April 28th in Haggard Park from 10:00am-9:00pm.

  4. Who produces Artfest? Plano Artfest is produced by the Historic Downtown Plano Association and the Plano Art Coalition.

  5. Does it cost any money to park? No. Parking is free in any of the public lots in the Downtown Plano Arts District.

  6. Does it cost any money to participate in the Chalk It Up or the Kids Zone? No. Both activities are free to everyone. 

  7. Will there be food and drink available? Yes. Food trucks and local concessionaires will be at the festival.

  8. How many vendors are in the Makers Market? There will be 60+ vendors in the Makers Market, presented by UTD, this year.

  9. Are you closing the street for Artfest? Yes, 15th Street will be closed in downtown.
